Normally, ChatGPT doesn’t have internet access, so it can’t provide information about current events. However, if you enable the ‘ChatGPT browse with Bing‘ feature, you can allow ChatGPT to access the internet and provide information on topics it’s not familiar with.

What is my own experience with ChatGPT Plus subscription?
I rely on ChatGPT frequently throughout the day, and it has become a valuable resource for my work and income.
Initially, I used the free version for approximately two months. I purchased the Plus subscription to experience ChatGPT plugins and the GPT-4 model, and I haven’t regretted it.
After using these features, I didn’t renew my subscription the following month since the free version met my needs, and I continued to use it for a while.
However, after the recent announcements, I switched back to the Plus subscription to try the image input feature, and I believe it’s worth the cost. If you decide you don’t need it after using it for a month, you can always continue with the free subscription.
