How to use Namelix?
Using Namelix AI is quite simple. You just need to follow the steps below:
Head over to the Namelix website.
First, visit namelix.com. On the homepage, you’ll find a textbox and a generate button.
In this TextBox, enter the keywords you believe are relevant to your business, separating each keyword with a comma. You can enter as many keywords as you want.
For example, I want to start a company that produces agricultural pesticides, and I’m looking for name suggestions for this company. To do this, I entered the keywords ‘Farmland’ and ‘Pesticide’ in the Keyword section here. Then, I clicked on the Generate button.
Choose your desired features
After clicking the Generate button, you’ll be taken to a new screen.
On this screen, you first select the style feature of the name. There are options like Auto, Alternate Spelling, Compound Words, Two Words, Short Phrase, Real Words, Non-English Words, Brandable Names, and more.
For now, I’m selecting Auto, which means all styles. Then, click the ‘Next’ button at the bottom.
In the next step, you’re asked to choose the ‘Randomness’ feature. The options here are Low, Medium, and High. If you select Low, it will provide you with less random and more direct name suggestions, while High will give you more varied results. For now, I’m continuing with Medium.
In the next stage, you can review the keywords you entered and add new keywords if desired. You can also write your Business Description here. This helps the application better understand your business and generate a more relevant name.
Additionally, you can check the availability of domains related to the generated name by clicking the ‘Check Domains’ button at the bottom of the screen.
Additionally, by clicking on the Settings button in the top-right corner of the screen, you can make further adjustments. When you click this button, you’ll see ‘Optional Settings’ and ‘Checked Domains’ headings.
Under ‘Optional Settings,’ you can add words, prefixes, or suffixes that you don’t want to be included in the generated brand names by separating them with commas. These added words will be excluded from the generated names.
You can also set your ‘Maximum Length Preferences’ here. By default, this option has no limit, but you can reduce it to as short as 5 characters, allowing for the generation of shorter names.
Under the ‘Checked Domains’ heading at the bottom of the screen, you can select which domain extensions you want to check for availability. By default, only .com is selected, but you can add extensions like .net, .org, and .ai if desired. It’s worth noting that adding too many extensions may increase the calculation time.
Finding AI-Generated Names For Your Brands
While the ‘Brand Info’ window is selected, you can initiate the name-finding process by clicking the ‘Generate’ button at the bottom.
When you click the ‘Generate’ button, Namelix will start searching for names that match the criteria you provided, using artificial intelligence technology. This process usually takes a short amount of time.
Namelix presented me with a bunch of brand name suggestions. You can either review these names one by one for inspiration or use the one you like directly. I really liked the names ‘CropCare’ and ‘AgriCareX’ from the options provided.
Additionally, you can hover over the names to get more detailed information or try registering the domain for that name directly using the ‘Register Domain’ option.
Reviewing Your Name
When you click on the name you like, you’ll be presented with various designs made with that name. These designs will showcase different versions of the name. You can switch between these designs to choose the one you find most suitable.
At the bottom of the screen, you’ll find options like Purchase, Save, Edit, Ideas, and the three-dot menu. Under the three dots, you’ll also find Share and Duplicate buttons.
- Purchase: This option presents you with packages that allow you to purchase the generated design. Currently, there are Basic, Designer, and Enterprise packages available, and you can learn more about them from the details provided below each package.
- Save: This option requires you to log in to your account. It allows you to save the design to your account for future reference.
- Edit: You can make various adjustments to this design, such as font size and design-related settings.
- Ideas: Here, you can view variations of the same name in different formats and colors.
- Share: The Share button creates a shareable link that you can use to share the design with someone else.
